About the Role
```Overview:```
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations, driving one of our Luton tail lift vehicles, delivering predominently in the West Yorkshire area. This role suits someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in their work, and values excellent customer service.
The working day typically runs from 7:45am-5:00pm - Monday to Friday
```Responsibilities:```
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of your assigned vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents
```Experience:```
- Previous courier or delivery experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Valid UK driver's license and no more than 6 points
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Physically fit and able to handle goods safely (equipment provided)
- Experience driving Luton vans (preferred)
- Good spoken and written English
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Pay: £85.00-£95.00 per day
