About the Role
We are seeking experienced and motivated Structural Fire Protection Operatives to join our growing team working across projects throughout the North of England.
The successful candidate must hold a valid ASFP Train the Painter qualification and have proven experience in the application of passive fire protection coatings to structural steelwork. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Application of intumescent coatings to structural steelwork.
- Surface preparation and coating application in accordance with project specifications.
- Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate records.
- Working safely and complying with all site health and safety requirements.
- Operating spraying equipment and associated tools.
- Liaising with site supervisors and project managers to ensure work is completed to programme.
Essential Requirements
- Current ASFP Train the Painter qualification.
- Previous experience in structural fire protection and intumescent paint application.
- CSCS Card.
- Good understanding of surface preparation standards and coating specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to sites across the North of England.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable Qualifications
- IPAF Licence.
- PASMA Certification.
- Additional industrial coating or blasting qualifications.

Pay: £21.00-£28.00 per hour
