Afterschool Club Coach – Job Description
Location: Streatham
Position: Afterschool Club Coach
Working Days: 2 or 3 days per week
Hours: 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Pay: £25 per session
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Afterschool Club Coach to deliver fun, engaging, and educational activities for children in a positive afterschool environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and lead interactive afterschool club sessions
- Create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence among children
- Prepare and organise materials and equipment for activities
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with staff and pupils
Clubs May Include
- Healthy Eating & Meal Preparation
- Jewellery Making
- Cooking Club
- Other creative and wellbeing-based activities
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people
- Friendly, patient, and energetic personality
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead engaging group activities independently
- Food hygiene knowledge is beneficial for cooking activities
