Purpose of the post:
· To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children placed in the setting.
· To give support to staff, working well both independently and as a team within the setting.
· To provide a safe secure and enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.
Key areas
· Work with, support children, and be a key person - completing fortnightly observations using the Tapestry app. Planning activities, alongside meaningful invitations to play supporting the child's interests.
· To build and maintain a working parent- partnership to ensure all children’s individual needs are met - this includes parents evenings and summary development checks & reports.
· Knowledge of the EYFS and the principles and know how to put these into practice - the ability to incorporate the statutory requirements into a fun and purposeful environment to encourage our children to thrive.
· Knowledge of OFSTED requirements - Up to date with relevant changes and can support new ideas to enhance our setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £9.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
