Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, a flair for creativity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, colour, blow-drying, and specialised treatments.
- Perform barbering services such as traditional shaves and beard trims.
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering professional advice.
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining the cleanliness of the reception area.
- Mentor junior staff members and apprentices to foster their professional development.
- Upsell products and services to maximise revenue while ensuring clients receive tailored recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with salon regulations.
- Keep abreast of current trends and techniques within the hairdressing industry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
- Skills in store management and team leadership are desirable.
- Certification or training in eyelash extensions, makeup application, or related beauty treatments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to connect with clients effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends as required by the salon schedule.
