Job Title: HGV / Plant Fitter
Location: West Dereham, Norfolk
Salary: Circa £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm (Day Shift)
About the Role
Our client, a well-established and reputable business based in West Dereham, is currently seeking an experienced HGV / Plant Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis. This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of our client by our recruitment agency.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and plant equipment
- Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and methods
- Perform inspections in line with DVSA standards and company procedures
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Attend breakdowns where required (if applicable)
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Fitter, Plant Fitter, or similar
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
