About us
We are a Music Academy based in South Manchester, offering expert one-to-one music tuition for all ages and abilities. We pride ourselves in delivering an excellent service provided by our professional, friendly and highly qualified team of teachers.
Applicant Experience & Education:
- Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Degree in Music
- Teaching experience
- Grade 8 qualification in music theory/instrument (not essential)
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Must hold a valid DBS certificate.
- Able to teach contemporary repertoire to students of all ages and abilities.
- Plan & deliver structured and engaging lessons (30mins-1 hour).
- Prepare students for performances and graded examinations (Grade 1-8).
- Friendly and professional approach to teaching.
- Good communication skills & punctuality.
- Able to provide cover lessons (not essential).
- Able to commute/relocate before starting work.
Hours & Pay:
*Commencing on the 1st of July
*Wednesdays (16:00-18:00) - Additional hours may become available as our timetable continues to grow
**£20 per hour
