We are now seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our team and provide leadership, consistency, and operational oversight across our supported accommodation services. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in support work who is ready to step into a leadership position and contribute to the ongoing development of staff and services.

Job Purpose:
To oversee day-to-day operations, support staff performance, and uphold quality standards across multiple supported housing sites. The Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring that services are safe, effective, and aligned with regulatory and organisational expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role still requires you to engage in direct support work with our residents
- Oversee daily operations across supported housing sites, ensuring smooth running of shifts and support delivery.
- Help manage staff rotas, and respond to staffing needs proactively.
- Provide hands-on supervision, conduct regular 1:1s, probation reviews, and performance reviews.
- Support staff development through training, coaching, and feedback
- Liaise effectively with professionals, families, and external agencies involved in residents’ care
- Ensure all services meet internal policies and external regulatory standards.
- Monitor and report on safeguarding issues, incidents, and compliance matters.
- Support the implementation and review of risk assessments and care plans.
- Conduct quality checks, audits, and contribute to service improvement plans.
- Promote and model best practice in safeguarding, equality, and resident engagement.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or any relevant field (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in support work, with at least 6 months in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Experience in the addiction, mental health, homelessness, or criminal justice sectors
- Strong working knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Computer literacy, with the ability to use care systems (e.g. Log My Care), manage rotas, and draft clear reports
- Valid UK Driving Licence (preferred)
Desirable:
- Supervisory or management training/certification
- Knowledge of housing law, benefit systems, or substance misuse recovery pathways
