The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established & global organisation based near Stamford. This is a full time, permanent position, that will require you to work on-site 5 days per week.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate supplier records, including contact details, payment terms and bank information
- Review purchase orders for correct coding of supplier accounts & nominal accounts
- Process invoices against purchase orders, ensuring correct approvals at each stage
- Prepare weekly payment runs and upload/input transactions into the bank system
- Maintain a clean payables ledger, ensuring prompt allocation of payments, requesting refunds for credit notes, and resolving any payment discrepancies
- Assist in month end processes
Requirements:
- Experience within a purchase ledger role (3+ years)
- Confident on Excel
- Experience with Sage - desired
