Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations along side our Head Chef efficiently. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Support Head Chef to ensure smooth operations
- Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items
- Ensure food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with Management Team to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Monitor inventory levels, minimise waste, and optimise utilisation of resources
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and development to reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Participate in training and mentorship with other kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Supervising experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management
- Knowledge of culinary techniques across various cuisines is desirable
- Exceptional qualities with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and managerment
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts are preferred but not essential depending on experience

Pay: £12.75-£15.00 per hour
