Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse Level 3 to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being in accordance with nursery policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
- Support children's individual needs, including behavioural management and personalised learning plans.
- Assist in organising daily routines such as meal times, play sessions, rest periods, and outings.
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating environment conducive to learning.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery programmes in line with early childhood education standards.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent recognised by early childhood education standards.
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and support team cohesion.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds.
- Knowledge of current childcare legislation, safeguarding policies, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to organise activities independently whilst working as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for facilitating outings or travelling between nursery locations. This role is ideal for passionate professionals committed to nurturing young children’s growth while developing their own career within early childhood education.
Pay: £24,420.00-£36,772.07 per year
