Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and accurately to customers
- Take orders and handle cash or card transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing regulations
- Assist in preparing garnishes, stock replenishment, and basic bar setup
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods using good time management skills
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for all staff and patrons
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Serving experience or familiarity with bar operations will be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours
- Basic mathematical skills for handling payments accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for delivering outstanding customer service
