Are you passionate about food and interested in learning the art of baking from scratch?
We are looking for a Trainee Baker to join our growing team at Trancio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop practical bakery skills and learn how to produce our range of handmade pastries, buns, focaccia and bakery products from scratch.
No formal baking qualifications are required – we are looking for the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with the preparation and production of our bakery products
- Learning dough mixing, shaping, proving and baking techniques
- Preparing ingredients and following recipes accurately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Supporting the bakery team during busy production periods
- Helping ensure products are ready for service and wholesale deliveries

- Is reliable and comfortable with very early morning starts
- Is hands-on and enjoys practical work
- Can work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Listens carefully to instructions and follows procedures accurately
- Takes initiative and can work independently when required
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is willing to learn new skills and develop within the business
- Can work weekends as part of a rota
