Senior Dental Nurse

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Dental Nurse to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, supporting colleagues and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures.
- Support and mentor dental nurses and trainee nurses.
- Help coordinate the daily running of the clinical team.
- Assist in maintaining CQC compliance and infection prevention standards.
- Ensure surgeries are fully prepared, stocked and maintained.
- Monitor clinical equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Assist with stock control and ordering of clinical supplies.
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists and reception staff to ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Promote high standards of professionalism, patient care and teamwork.
- Support the induction and development of new members of staff.
Essential Requirements
- GDC registered Dental Nurse.
- Minimum of two years' post-qualification dental nursing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fully immunised, including Hepatitis B.
- Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
- Two satisfactory professional references.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
- Experience using SOE Exact dental software.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring other nurses.
- Dental Radiography qualification.
- Oral Health Education qualification.
- Sedation experience.
- Valid Immediate Life Support (ILS) certificate.

Working Hours
