Summary
We are seeking a House Manager to oversee the daily operations in our lovely small retirement home. This includes cooking two meals a day. Located in Southsea this role is vital in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of support while they have their independence. The House Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive atmosphere.
The job is working 5 days a week including weekends. There is a Relief House Manager that will cover the two days you don't work and any holiday you may take.
This role comes with a three bedroom unfurnished flat for you to live in on site. All bills are included.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the retirement living facility to ensure a high standard of care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
- Making and cooking a healthy menu for the residents
- Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks
- Experience in adult care
