Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to transport medical devices safely and efficiently to multiple locations across England.
This role is essential in ensuring the timely, secure, and compliant delivery of products, supporting operational continuity and high service standards across the organisation.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support operational requirements by transporting raw materials and finished goods between the Lancaster and Morecambe sites to ensure continuity of production and output.
- Safely secure, load, and transport goods in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Liaise effectively with site managers and supervisors to ensure timely, smooth, and efficient deliveries.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects or maintenance issues.
- Maintain flexibility to work variable schedules, including occasional nights away.
- Keep accurate delivery and transport records in line with company standards.
- Coordinate the movement, storage, and segregation of materials within the warehouse to maintain organisation and compliance.
- Support the achievement of operational targets and production KPIs by following agreed plans and priorities.
- Promote a positive team environment by building strong working relationships and contributing to a culture of cooperation and efficiency.
- Demonstrate teamwork by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and leading by example through honesty, reliability, and commitment.
Personal Specifications:
- HGV Class 2 licence (minimum requirement).
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Valid forklift licence, with at least 1 year of experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Good geographical knowledge of local and regional routes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with good problem-solving ability.
- Basic PC literacy skills (preferred).
- Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive with a positive attitude
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lancaster LA1 4XS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
