We are seeking a friendly and professional Beverage Server to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders accurately
- Serve a variety of drinks including alcohol, soft drinks, and specialised beverages according to standard procedures
- Ensure all beverages are prepared and presented to high-quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area throughout shifts
- Assist with food service when required, including basic food preparation and presentation
- Upsell additional drinks or specials to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Handle guest queries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to ensure compliance with health standards
- Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management skills
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and maximise sales
- Familiarity with serving techniques and restaurant etiquette is desirable
