We have an excellent opportunity for Finance Coordinator to join our Finance and Payroll team in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. This is a full-time position, working hours being 8:30 to 17:00 on Monday to Thursday and 8:30 to 16:30 on Friday.
Job duties
· Sales ledger invoicing and reconciliation
· Allocation of funds received
· Bank reconciliations and downloading payments and receipts
· Expenses analysis including identifying trends
· Reconciliation of balance sheet
· Sending clients statement of account
· Verification of bank details ensuring this is aligned to the financial control framework
· Processing day-to-day financial transactions
· Maintaining client accounts
· Managing the cash flow of the company, and use it strictly.
· Chasing outstanding payments and attending regular credit control meetings
· Minimising credit balances, unallocated cash and old debt
· Handling disputed accounts and negotiating to bring payment into line with terms
· Preparing the debtors budget
· Preparing commentary for month end reporting
· Supporting to management and staff on finance related issues
Key Skills
· Computer literate in Sage account, Excel and Microsoft Office package
· Have strong digital sensitivity, good at data statistics and analysis
· Good time management and communication skills
· Experience in finance or credit control positions is preferred
