No More Digging Wales installs ground screw foundations — a faster, cleaner alternative to concrete — across Cardiff, South Wales and other parts of the UK. We're part of the national RADIX installer network and we're growing.
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking installer to take on ground screw contracts and the associated timber and structural works, and deliver them to a high standard.
Please only apply if you meet ALL of the following — these are hard requirements:
- A current, valid CSCS card (essential)
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Carpentry / timber experience — building timber frames, confident with power tools, decking and boardwalk-type work
- Willing and able to work away from home a lot of the time — overnight stays are essential. This is not a job you can do from home every night
- Able to do early starts and late finishes when needed — including getting to Barry for starts as early as 5am
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on outdoor work in all weathers
- Self-employed with a UTR (or willing to register) and the right to work in the UK
If you can't commit to working away with overnight stays, or you don't hold a CSCS card, please don't apply on this occasion — it saves us both time.
The work:
- Carrying out ground screw installations on residential and commercial sites (full training in ground screw installation provided)
- Timber and structural assembly work on site — frames, decking, boardwalks and similar
- Delivering each contract to specification, on programme, and to the required quality
- Operating ground screw installation equipment (full training provided)
- Co-ordinating with other operatives and liaising with the site contact to ensure the job is delivered as agreed

- Reliability and a strong work ethic — this matters to us more than anything
- A positive, can-do approach and willingness to take ownership of a job
- Someone who takes pride in delivering quality work
You don't need previous ground screw experience — we'll train you fully on that. But you do need the CSCS card, a driving licence, genuine carpentry experience, and the flexibility to work away with overnight stays, as these are core to the role from day one.

More than just a job: We install across a real variety of projects — from solar farms and commercial developments to bridges and boardwalks — so no two weeks look the same. As we grow, there's scope for the right person to get involved in more than just installation, including site surveys and wider project work.

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
