St Teresa’s Hospice is looking for a passionate and organised Fundraising Assistant to join our dedicated fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact by supporting vital hospice services while developing their career in fundraising and charity work
Location: St Teresa’s Hospice, The Woodlands, Woodland Road, Darlington, DL3 7UA
Hours: 25 hours per week to be worked over Monday to Friday, preferably 5 days per week.
You will need to work flexibly outside of normal working hours on occasion, as required to facilitate and attend events, including evening and weekend working.
St Teresa’s Hospice Band 2: £24,887 per annum pro rata (£16,591.33 actual for 25 hours per week)

Main duties of the job:
As a Fundraising Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of fundraising activities that enable our hospice to provide compassionate care. You’ll work closely with colleagues to provide administrative assistance, ensure excellent supporter care, assist with events, and maintain strong relationships with donors.
This is a varied and rewarding role, perfect for someone who enjoys organisation, communication, and working as part of a team.

You will have:
· Strong administrative and organisational skills
· Excellent communication (written and verbal)
· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
· Experience working in an office environment and handling data
· A passion for delivering excellent supporter care, with relevant experience
· A full UK driving licence and your own transport for work
