About the Role
As an Events Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of events, ensuring smooth service, excellent customer satisfaction, and an engaged, motivated team.
You'll work closely with management to deliver memorable events while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate the events team during service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Set up and prepare event spaces to company standards.
- Ensure events run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
- Coordinate with catering, kitchen, and other departments.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Brief and support team members before and during events.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, licensing, and health & safety procedures.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including cash handling where required.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Support recruitment, induction, and training of new team members.
- Drive sales through upselling and promoting additional products and services.

- Previous experience supervising within hospitality, catering, or events.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.

- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
