As an Assistant Contract Manager, you'll play a vital role in overseeing our grounds maintenance contracts and ensuring the successful delivery of maintenance services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support all aspects of grounds maintenance contracts, from initial tender and bid support, to contract mobilisation, administration, and performance monitoring
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including grounds maintenance supervisors, contract managers, and finance teams, to develop contract specifications, scopes of work, and pricing structures
- Driving standards on client site whilst looking to maximise revenue streams from Extra Works and ESG initiatives
- Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures, and equipment operation across portfolio of contracts
- Monitoring subcontractor performance and quality of work, conducting site inspections, and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to foster a collaborative and productive working environment
- Providing regular updates to Contract Managers on contract performance, budgetary matters, and other key metrics
- Promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and across the organisation
What we're looking for:
- Target driven performer who is keen to harness client relationships to maximise contract revenue
- Previous experience in contract supervision, or facilities supervision
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence
- Proficiency in CRM and Client software/portals and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
