Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers and gas and plumbing systems within residential properties. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and practical skills to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks. Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, Installing, inspecting, and repairing domestic gas appliances and systems in accordance with safety regulations.
- Conducting routine maintenance on plumbing and gas equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnosing faults in plumbing and gas systems using specialised tools and techniques.
- Performing pipework installation and repairs, including welding and assembly where necessary.
- Utilising hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to complete various tasks efficiently.
- Heavy lifting of equipment or materials as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job.
- Adhering to health and safety standards at all times, including compliance with current regulations regarding gas safety.
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing, with a strong understanding of domestic systems
- Competent with hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
- Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams.
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving where required.

Pay: £51,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
