We are looking for an East Yorkshire Regional Operations Manager
Responsible to the Operations Director, the role will be to work in partnership with the Home Managers in running the care homes (located in the East Yorkshire area), commission new care homes, develop current and future Registered Managers, maintain quality through audit and strive to improve the care for our residents.
- Strategic day-to-day overview of quality.
- Liaising, networking, building and maintaining relationships with key people and with Regulators and Commissioners.
- Recruitment, induction, training and development of Registered Managers and other senior staff
- To effectively manage staffing in accordance with operational strategy, including absenteeism, capability and disciplinary where necessary.
- To manage and be the responsible person to cover Manager’s holidays or absences and to cover homes which have Managements vacancies for as long as is required.
- To carry out and comply with all relevant company policies and procedures and to implement the requirements of the Care Quality Commission
The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, high standards and care home management experience. Regional manager experience is desirable but isn’t essential.
