Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings. The successful candidate will ensure that all areas are kept tidy, organised, and welcoming for clients and guests. Previous experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all rooms and communal spaces are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organising linens and uniforms
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning if required
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards pilgrims and team members
