Hourly Rate / Salary: £16.63ph & overtime paid at x1.25 + holiday pay(Weekly pay)

We are looking for a strong leader ideally from a fresh produce/FMCG background to oversee the daily production lines, quality inspection and people management of our clients re-structured fresh produce business. You be will responsible for the day-to-day running of production areas ensuring product quality is maintained and focused on driving continuous improvement.

Duties of the role:
· Ensure all daily production activities are effectively supervised, maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant operations that meet budgeted costs, service levels, and customer requirements at all times.
· Preparing shifts daily, checking machine setup, and other equipment is correctly set up safely ready for production
· Ensuring staff are effectively supervised and directed, dealing with minor people-related matters as instructed so performance and behaviour standards are met
· Driving continuous improvement across production
· Responsible for quality control throughout, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, legality, authenticity and organic integrity at all times
· Responsible for ensuring breakdowns, planned maintenance and ad-hoc machinery issues are managed effectively
· Lead by example with health and safety
· Support administrators to maintain accurate records, complete traceability, documentation and ensure all required reporting is submitted on time and to the correct standard
Candidates must have:
· Previous experience leading/supervising a team essential, preferably withing FMCG environment
· Food safety level 2
· COSHH Level 2
· Experience in quality control, product traceability and specifications
· Confident in working to targets
· Computer literate, confident in MS Outlook/word and excel
· Strong communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· A can-do attitude
· Ability to work under pressure
