The Role
Tempest Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Hillingdon for a Primary ECT to join the team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career in a school that genuinely invests in early career development.
You'll take on your own class with the full backing of a structured induction programme, a dedicated mentor, and a leadership team committed to helping you thrive in your first years of teaching.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-paced lessons across the primary curriculum
- Creating a calm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Working closely with your mentor to meet ECT induction standards
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Contributing to wider school life, including extra-curricular activities
What We're Looking For
- A recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS
- A genuine passion for primary education and child development
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
