Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Dental Nurse to join and support our clinical team at East Village Dental – Stratford. Located just a 5 minute walk from Stratford Station, this is a 4 surgery practice offering both NHS and private dental care plus specialist treatments. The modern air conditioned practice utilises state of the art technology to offer our patients the very best in dental care.
The Role
As Lead Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical team while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, compliance, and infection control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures
- Leading and supporting the dental nursing team
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC, HTM 01-05 and GDC standards
- Managing stock control and clinical supplies
- Assisting with audits and maintaining clinical governance
- Supporting the Practice Manager with rota planning and training
- Delivering exceptional patient care and communication
About You
- GDC registered Dental Nurse (essential)
- Minimum 2 years’ UK dental nursing experience
- Previous leadership or senior nurse experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cross-infection control and compliance
- Organised, proactive and professional
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
