Depot Operative
Location Dyce, Aberdeen
The post holder's main place of employment will be the Aberdeen depot but may be required to work at other company locations as reasonably requested.
Working Hours
The standard hours of work are 07:30 – 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Role Overview
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting depot operations and field service activities. The successful candidate will assist with the commissioning, maintenance, repair and cleaning of industrial battery systems, chargers and associated equipment while helping to maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
Full product and equipment training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Onsite commissioning, maintenance, repair and cleaning of industrial batteries, chargers and associated equipment
- General depot housekeeping and maintenance
- Cleaning and preparation of company vehicles
- Supporting operational activities across the wider business
- Assisting colleagues as required to ensure efficient service delivery
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Electrical or mechanical knowledge would be advantageous not essential
- No formal qualifications are required for this position
- Full training will be provided
- Full UK driving licence preferred
