About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, conducting thorough examinations, and diagnosing faults in forklifts. You’ll handle on-site repairs, routine maintenance, and address breakdowns as they arise. Occasionally, long-distance travel to customer locations will be required. We offer a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule, along with additional training opportunities to help you enhance your skills and grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair forklifts on-site and in workshop.
- Perform thorough examinations in line with regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Travel long distances to client locations when needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support to staff and customers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of forklift servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to travel as required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic software and basic computer skills for documentation purposes – preferred but not essential.

Pay: £35,360.00-£43,680.00 per year
