Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for 6 Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of welcoming schools throughout Cardiff from September 2026.
We have a mixture of opportunities available, including:

Most roles running for the full academic year

Opportunities within Primary school settings

Positions supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, within small groups, and across whole-class environments
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people through the Welsh language.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be fluent in Welsh and confident communicating through the medium of Welsh

Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)

Be patient, supportive, and committed to helping pupils achieve their potential

Be able to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents
-
Hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check
