We are currently looking for a Drayman with a Class 2 license to join our small friendly growing team at our company in Stourbridge. Must have at least 2 years Class 2 driving experience. Applicants need to be over 25 for insurance purposes.
Must have a CPC with Driver Qualification Card, Current Driving License with the correct classification to drive Class 2 vehicles. A clean licence is preferable, but not essential.
Your role will be:
Drayman- Delivering beer to our customers on a Class 2 vehicle. You will be required to adhere to the following
* Prepare vehicle for operation by daily walk around and completion of an inspection sheet, obtaining or scheduling required repairs with superior; validating adherence to road ability standards.
* Load vehicle to correct standards taking in to account carrying capacity of vehicle and weight of load to be carried. Securing load for transport.
* Deliver products to established customers and routes, operating the vehicle; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
* Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organizational operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as driving rules and regulations; clean vehicle exterior and interior.
* Maintain delivery, vehicle, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording driver information and completing all relevant driver logs.
