About the Role
We are currently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Rochdale for both immediate (ASAP) starts and September 2026 placements.
These roles are available in both mainstream and SEN settings, offering a variety of opportunities to support pupils with different needs, abilities, and learning styles.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant who is looking for flexible work across multiple schools, or a long-term placement within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in both classroom and small group settings
- Provide targeted support for learning, behaviour, and emotional development
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and SEMH
- Support classroom management and daily routines
- Help create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs
About You
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Experience working in primary and/or secondary settings
- Experience supporting SEN or SEMH pupils is desirable but not essential
- Confident, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
