Business Development Executive
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: £35,000 per annum + commission
Location: Ilkeston
Contract Type: Permanent
Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join our business in Ilkeston on a permanent basis. The basic salary is £35000 + OTE per annum and the working hours are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively generating new business through outbound cold calling and customer prospecting
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable storage and industrial solutions
- Managing customer enquiries and processing orders
- Following up quotations and developing repeat business opportunities
- Working towards individual sales targets and KPIs
- Covering customer accounts across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire
- Developing product knowledge across the full product range
Experience and Skills:
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Comfortable with cold calling and business development activity
- Self-motivated and target driven
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK Driving Licence essential
- Own transport required initially
