We're looking for an ambitious HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join a growing business and play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, recruitment activity, and wider HR initiatives. The Role This is a varied generalist HR position with a strong focus on recruitment during the initial stages. You'll work closely with managers across the business, supporting hiring activity while also assisting with employee relations, HR administration, onboarding, training, and people-focused projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple departments.
- Writing and posting job adverts, screening applications and coordinating interviews.
- Supporting onboarding and induction activities for new starters.
- Maintaining employee records and HR systems.
- Assisting with employee relations matters and HR casework.
- Monitoring absence, holiday and attendance records.
- Supporting performance review and appraisal processes.
- Coordinating training and development activities.
- Assisting with payroll administration and HR reporting.
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Providing first-line HR support to managers and employees.
About You
- Previous experience within an HR, People, Recruitment or Talent role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of UK employment legislation.
- Proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of tasks.
- Experience supporting recruitment campaigns would be highly advantageous.
Desirable
- CIPD Level 3 or working towards.
- Experience within professional services, legal, financial services or similar environments.
- Experience using HR systems and payroll software.
