We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Electronics & Mechanical Development Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. At Dextron Technologies, partner of Dryft World Ltd, the Electronics & Mechanical Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and validating electronic and mechanical systems for machine applications. This role bridges concept development and production, ensuring robust, scalable solutions that meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing requirements. The position involves close collaboration with design teams, suppliers, and internal manufacturing functions to deliver high-quality products ready for volume production.

Duties
- Build and validate proof-of-concept electronic systems to test ideas and demonstrate functionality to internal teams.
- Support mechanical design refinement to enhance performance, usability, and manufacturability of products.
- Design and develop electronic systems to control drive motors, user interfaces, and battery management indicators.
- Work closely with HMI design to engineer electronic functionality that integrates seamlessly with the intended user experience and visual design.
- Develop electronics with a strong focus on durability, safety, and suitability for volume production.
- Define detailed firmware requirements for ESCs and PCBs, working closely with external suppliers to deliver precise functionality and refine performance during testing phases.
- Identify, source, and specify electronic components that meet performance, cost, and supply chain requirements for scaled manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Strong experience in electronic circuit design
- Motor control systems and battery-powered applications
- PCB design and integration with ESCs
- Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Component selection with awareness of global supply constraints
- Testing, validation, and iterative development of electromechanical systems
- Experience in Altium preferred
- Experience in the design of motors
- Experience with microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex M0
- Experience developing embedded firmware in C
- Ability to design electronics designs, to meet compliance requirements, specifically EMC
- Knowledge of IPC standards

· Mechanical design and prototyping skills
· SolidWorks CAD skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
