Job description
S2L are on looking for a driver to join our fleet to help assist with the distribution of our hire and sale kit to film sets and studios in and around Scotland. The job is structured to be 8-6 but it is often 7-7 and can involve earlier starts and later finishes, both with overtime. The yard based activities consist of check over, cleaning and testing the hire equipment. General housekeeping and organisation.
Requirements
- A clean UK Driving License
- Good communications skill, ability to discuss the work with the clients and base office
- A can do approach to what can be physical work and long drives
- A willingness to work both within a structured schedule and with last minute changes
- Personable and likeable to deal with clients face to face and represent the company
- The ability to both work on your own for long durations and be a part of an efficient working team
- Punctuality & essential individual timekeeping to stay ahead and on top of your
- Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods, maintaining vehicle condition, planning routes, and strictly complying with traffic regulations
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
- Safely loading, securing, and unloading goods.
- Accurately complete and get signed delivery and collection notes
- Identify equipment damages and report back to the office
Preferable (But Not Essential)
- Forklift training
- Towing license
- Knowledge in the hire industry

Pay: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
