A warm and welcoming early years setting in Beaconsfield is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic CACHE Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional to support children’s development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you will:
- Support children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, communication, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and next steps
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support individual development
Requirements
- CACHE Level 3 Childcare qualification – essential
- Experience working within an Early Years / nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Knowledge of phonics and early communication development
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
