Level 3 Teaching Assistant
At Sense Education, we believe the best support staff don’t just work in schools – they become part of the story of every child they help. If you’re the kind of Level 3 Teaching Assistant who notices the quiet wins, celebrates the small steps and brings calm, consistency and care into the classroom, we’d love to introduce you to this opportunity.
We’re currently working with a large, welcoming infant school in Carlisle that is looking for a confident and compassionate TA to join their team.
The Role
This is a mainstream classroom position with a strong focus on supporting pupils with EHCPs. You’ll be right at the heart of the classroom – not on the sidelines – helping children access learning in a way that works for them.
Think:
· Sitting alongside a child who just needs that extra reassurance to get started
· Breaking learning into manageable, meaningful steps
· Working closely with the class teacher to bring EHCP targets to life
· Being a consistent, positive presence in a busy infant setting
The school
This is a large infant school with a lively, inclusive feel. There’s a strong team ethos here – staff support each other, share ideas and genuinely care about getting it right for every child. You won’t feel like “just agency” – you’ll be part of the rhythm of the school day.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Minimum qualification required – A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
