We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer to join a reputable and growing fire protection specialist. This role is ideal for a skilled installer who takes pride in delivering precise, compliant and high‑quality workmanship across commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, replace and maintain fire doors to current UK fire safety regulations
- Carry out surveys and inspections, ensuring full compliance
- Complete accurate reports and certification paperwork
- Liaise with clients, site managers and internal teams professionally
- Work to high quality standards while maintaining strict health & safety protocols
Requirements
Must‑Have
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Fire Door Installer
- Strong knowledge of UK fire door regulations and standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Own transport to travel between sites
- Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality, compliant installations
- Good communication and reporting skills
Desirable
- FIRAS, BM TRADA, FDIS or equivalent certifications
- Experience in commercial, social housing or fire safety projects
