Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our small team. This role contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is essential.
Duties
- Meal preparation and food presentation in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Help with inventory management by organising supplies and notifying management of stock levels
- Serve food to customers or assist in serving during events or catering functions
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to promote a safe working environment
- Support the team in various kitchen tasks as required to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various responsibilities within the kitchen
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and food service industry
