Children’s Support Worker – £14.24–£14.35 per hour (incl. Holiday Pay)
Support Worker (Temporary/Bank) – Residential Children’s Homes
Location: Northamptonshire
We’re looking for experienced and passionate Support Workers to join our agency team, providing high-quality care to children and young people in residential homes and supported living settings.
Shifts Available:
- Long Days
- Long Day Sleeps
- Waking Nights
- Weekdays & Weekends
Pay & Benefits:
- £12.71–£12.81 per hour + £1.53 holiday pay (Total: £14.24–£14.35 per hour)

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 months’ experience in children’s residential or supported living settings
- Full UK Driving Licence + access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Role Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with EBD, trauma, mental health needs, or learning disabilities
- Build positive relationships and act as a mentor
- Follow personalised care plans & safeguarding procedures
- Encourage independence and emotional development
- Assist with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
- Complete accurate daily notes and documentation
- Most importantly you must be caring, hard working, honest and passionate about providing the best level of care, encouraging the mental and physical development of young people.
