A well-established and growing multi-site business is seeking an experienced Group FP&A Manager to join its senior finance function in South Wales.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, driving business performance, and delivering meaningful financial insight within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Director, the Group FP&A Manager will play a key role in shaping financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the wider business.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting, supporting operational and commercial teams with performance insight, and helping drive improved profitability, efficiency, and long-term business growth.
This role would suit someone who combines strong technical FP&A capability with excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Group forecasting, budgeting, and long‑term planning, owning end‑to‑end forecasts for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Deliver high‑quality financial insight and analysis, including variance analysis, scenario modelling, and performance commentary that supports effective decision‑making.
- Partner with SLT and senior stakeholders across finance, commercial, operations, and supply chain to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for performance improvement.
- Own monthly performance reporting cycles, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting at company and business‑unit level.
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards, promoting self‑service analytics and consistent KPI tracking aligned to strategic objectives.
- Support cost, productivity, and working capital improvements through targeted analysis and operationally focused finance partnering.
- Prepare board‑level materials, clearly communicating assumptions, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as FP&A lead on strategic initiatives, including transformation projects and M&A activity, working closely with the CEO and Finance Director.
- Drive continuous improvement within FP&A, enhancing processes, tools, data quality, and ways of working across the finance function.
- Build financial capability across the business, improving commercial awareness and confidence in using financial information
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in an FP&A or commercial finance role within a multi‑site or complex business.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capability.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business insight.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision‑making.
- Strong communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
- Confident working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Desirable Experience
- Manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, or operationally focused business experience
- Exposure to strategic projects or M&A activity
- Experience using Power BI or similar dashboarding/reporting tools
