The Village Inn is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
- Restocking cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous kitchen porter or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
