Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety standards
- Handle cash and process payments using the POS system with precision
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including hygiene standards and responsible alcohol service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to serve customers effectively
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to manage busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly, professional attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required
