Step Into Teaching is working with a welcoming secondary school in Milton Keynes seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across a range of subjects. This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training and looking to gain first-hand classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting students during lessons and helping them stay engaged with their learning
- Providing one-to-one and small-group academic support
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Helping students develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits
- Building strong relationships with pupils and staff across the school
What We're Looking For
- A graduate with a 2:2 degree or above in any subject
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
- A genuine passion for education and working with young people
- Previous experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential
