Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment. Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and addressing concerns.
- Sterilise and prepare dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Ensure the clinical environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting; previous experience as a Dental Nurse is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic patient records and appointment scheduling.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
- Good understanding of nursing principles, infection control, and health & safety standards relevant to dental practice.
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care.

Pay: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
