Overview
We are seeking a highly proactive, experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to work alongside our existing RM, candidate should be able to work to a high standard and oversee the services we provide within the Swindon, Wiltshire area. Our services supports a large community client base and operates with experienced staff, structured systems and a strong focus on dependable, person-centred care.
About the Role
The Registered Manager will lead the team to be able to deliver the most fantastic care within Swindon. The successful candidate will uphold compliance as expected by CQC and the local authority. Some of the role would require you to, but not limited to, manage care plans, risk assessments, quality assurance, reporting, but most importantly, keep the culture within the business and expand on the supporting nature we have developed. We are looking for an individual that can assist with business growth whilst keeping the core of the business compliant with all CQC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day operations and upholding the highest quality of care being delivered.
- Ensure the service meets all CQC and regulatory compliance.
- Manage a small Multidisciplinary office team to include a Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator, Staff trainer, administrative assistant and Recruitment Officer.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all those we support, our staff and also local authority and partner orgasnisations.
- Implementation of systems to stramline the workflow.
- Lead and supervise the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor the quality of care through audits, resident feedback, and regular team meetings.
- Promote a positive organisational culture centred on dignity, respect, and independence for residents.
What we are looing for:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within Domiciliary Care is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams whilst maintaining high standards of person-centred care.
- Must be able to motivate, develop and lead care teams.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and Safeguarding Procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and compliance documentation.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Must have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or working towards this qualification.
