About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Representative (BDR)to help accelerate our growth in SAP ERP solutions and services. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing sales team and play a key role in driving new business across enterprise and mid-market organisations.
You’ll be at the front line of our sales engine, identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers and helping businesses deliver value through SAP technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
Proactively identify and engage potential customers through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn)
Build and manage a pipeline of organisations that could benefit from SAP ERP solutions and services using research tools
Qualify leads by understanding their business challenges, systems landscape and transformation goals
Carry out pre-event outreach calls to invite and confirm attendance at Birchman events.
Conduct post event follow up calls to attendees and prospects.
Execute outbound calls to prospective organisations as part of targeted campaigns.
Follow up on marketing campaigns and outreach activities to generate engagement.
Collaborate with Account Managers and specialists to move opportunities forward
Book and coordinate discovery calls, demos and workshops
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM system
Stay up to date with SAP innovations and market trends to enhance outreach messaging
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or lead generation (could include placement work)
Exposure to ERP systems or enterprise software (experience with SAP is highly desirable but not essential)
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
Commercial awareness and curiosity about business processes and technology
Self-motivated, target-driven and resilient
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth oriented environment
Nice to Have
Familiarity with SAP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA Public Private Cloud
Experience working within a consulting, technology, or SaaS environment
Understanding of core business functions like finance, supply chain, or operations
