- PART-TIME TELESALES ROLE (REMOTE)
Join the Team at Red Event Wedding Fayres
We're looking for a friendly, confident and organised telesales professional to join our small team at Red Event Wedding Fayres.
This is a remote, part-time freelance/self-employed role, working closely alongside the business owner to help grow exhibitor bookings across our North West wedding shows.
Our brand is built around relationships, communication and a warm, non-pushy approach to sales. We're looking for somebody who enjoys building rapport and trust with people, whilst also being commercially confident and motivated by achieving results.
Hours & Seasonal Working
- Approx. 6–9 hours per week
- Hours can be split across 2–3 days
- Immediate start available
Please note our events are seasonal, with our busiest periods running:
There is usually a quieter period over the summer before planning begins again around July for the new season.
A trial period will be in place initially to ensure the role is the right fit for both sides, followed by a review.
The Role
Responsibilities include:
- Calling potential and existing exhibitors to discuss upcoming wedding fayres
- Following up warm leads and enquiries
- Researching and sourcing new supplier leads
- Building long-term relationships with suppliers
- Handling objections and confidently discussing the benefits of exhibiting
- Keeping track of follow-ups and ongoing conversations
- Updating supplier notes and call information within our database
- Sending daily/weekly feedback and updates to the business owner
- Representing the warm, welcoming ethos of the Red Event brand
This is an active outbound sales role. You must be comfortable spending the majority of your working time actively on the phone.
The ideal person will be warm, relationship-led and confident in asking for the booking, whilst also being commercially minded and naturally proactive.
This role would suit someone who enjoys outbound sales, follow-up calls and building long-term commercial relationships.
The successful applicant will be expected to maintain accurate call notes and activity records within our systems.
Success in this role is measured by proactive outreach, quality conversations, consistent follow-up activity and exhibitor bookings.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Experienced in telesales and outbound sales
- Friendly, warm and confident on the phone
- Comfortable asking for the booking and moving conversations forward
- Organised, proactive and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently remotely
- Professional and reliable
- A strong communicator with excellent spoken and written English
- Able to build rapport naturally whilst maintaining commercial focus
- Comfortable handling objections and rejection positively
- Good with admin and keeping records updated
- Familiar with Excel/basic computer systems
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Knowledge of the wedding or events industry
- Knowledge of the North West UK area
- Experience working with small businesses or creative industries
Important Notes
- Applicants must have previous telesales experience
- A clear UK accent is preferred due to our customer base
- Monthly payment will be made upon invoice submission
